Open Days Event with
two-day sessions in
Athens and Crete by Sefco Zeelandia!

The open days events were successfully held over two separate two-day sessions (February 18–19 and March 18–19), focusing on trends in the world of gelato as well as the company’s new products for 2026. The events took place at SEFCO ZEELANDIA’s modern Technical Applications Center in Spata and at DOMESTICA’s facilities in Heraklion, Crete, respectively.

During the open days, guests had the opportunity to explore the new products and trend-driven innovations that SEFCO ZEELANDIA is known for introducing. The Casa Gelato Movano concept, featuring an impressive chocolate Swiss-style flavor, and Casa Gelato Speculoos, with an authentic biscuit taste, stole the spotlight. Two new pastes (Ricotta and Crema Catalana) and three Variegone flavors (Wild Sicilian Strawberry, Caffè Santos, and Salty Almond) also attracted significant attention.

Beyond gelato, the company unveiled a standout new cream for pastry applications from its acclaimed Minuta range: Minuta Speculoos. With its rich, creamy texture and distinctive speculoos aroma, it is ideal for both classic and fine pastry creations. New chocolate decoration codes were also presented. In the cake category, the Carrot Cake, made with real carrot pieces and spices and the Speculoos Cake, featuring genuine speculoos biscuit, once again demonstrated why SEFCO ZEELANDIA leads in this segment. Finally, the company introduced its new dark sponge cake, characterized by a dense and compact structure, making it ideal for fine pastry applications.
