Traditional New Year’s Cake

Mama's Deco 1.000 gr
Butter 99% 75 gr
Oil (sunflower/corn ) 380 gr
Eggs 300 gr
Water 250 gr
Sugar 150 gr
Lemon shavings 1 piece
or Orange shavings 1 piece
Eldorado extra ingredients

Preparation

    Use the flat beater to mix all the ingredient together at low speed for 1 minute and then switch to high speed for 4 minutes until you get a homogeneous mixture. Add the lemon or the orange shavings at the end. Make sure they are well blended.

    Pour the mixture into preferable molds, filling them up to 2/3.

    Bake at 160°C (depending on the weight).

    Once the cake has cooled down, it is ready for decoration.

    Coat with Eldorado (hot jelly) and then sprinkle with biscuit crumbs.
